Bellevue Man Killed in Crash

A 21-year-old woman was injured and her 44-year-old father was recently killed in a Sarpy County car accident. The fatal car crash occurred on 36th Street near Cedar Island Road in Sarpy County. Officials say the woman was driving a blue Chevrolet Cobalt when it spun out of control, crossed the centerline, and was struck by a southbound driving BMW. The driver sustained critical injuries and her father died at the scene. The 64-year-old driver of the BMW was hospitalized for observation. The crash remains under investigation, but recent snowfall may have contributed to the accident.
