Attorneys Joseph Cullan and Patrick Cullan of Cullan & Cullan recently reached a $19.6 million verdict for his client, who suffered serious spinal cord damage in a U.S. Highway 75 crash on October 31, 2012. The man, who is now in a wheelchair, suffered a partially severed spinal cord when a concrete truck collided with his pickup and forced him off the road. The case showed that the truck driver was negligent in his actions on the road.
The compensation will pay for past medical bills for emergency medical care and services from the Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital, as well as future medical bills, lost wages, pain and suffering, and other losses in both the past and future. The compensation will be paid by the at-fault driver, Concrete Industries Inc., and NEBCO Inc. The victim is currently continuing his rehabilitation.
